Project R.I.D.E., Inc. (Riding Instruction Designed for Education) is a Premier level accredited therapeutic horseback riding program through the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. Founded in 1969, NARHA is dedicated to supporting horseback riding in a safe, educational and enjoyable manner for persons with special needs or disabilities. NAHRA offers training seminar’s, provides demanding standards of both excellence and safety and certifies programs and instructors to teach riding to the individual facing special challenges. The center in Elk Grove, CA was most recently accredited by NARHA in September, 2007.
