At this three-hour training seminar, held once a month, you will learn:
- Background of Therapeutic Horseback Riding
- The history and mission of Project R.I.D.E.
- Basic safety around horses
- How to assist in our riding lessons as a Sidewalker*

If there is enough interest and time permits, we will also hold a special training for potential Leaders. Minimum age 18 and horse experience required for the Leader position.
Please note that orientation is only required for volunteers who assist with our riding lessons. Stable cleaners, junior volunteers and office volunteers are not required to attend before volunteering.
