My Dear Volunteers,

We’ve survived the Crab Feed (our best ever!) and it’s already time to think about February at Project RIDE. Your February calendar is attached; kindly return it with your choice of shifts marked and I will add you to our volunteer schedule.

Two Monday Holidays

We will have no lessons on February 14 or 21 as Jessie Baker School is closed.

Return of CSUS

This week I will be on campus recruiting our next set of enthusiastic student volunteers whom you will see in the barn beginning February 20th. I will need 5 Leaders to assist with each of our two large orientations scheduled for the 9th and 16th. Returning CSUS volunteers, please join me at my presentations and help spread the word! Contact me directly for more details.

End of Jessie Baker Approaching in March

We are nearing completion of our annual contract to serve the students of Jessie Baker School. Due to fluctuations in student attendance it is impossible to say exactly when we will be finished working with them for the school year, but we anticipate that our current schedule will remain in place until at least March 18th. There will be some changes to our lesson schedule after that date, so stay tuned for details.

Save the Dates:

Thank you for all you do to help us improve the lives of people with special needs. And remember: volunteers aren’t paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re PRICELESS!
