The Think Pink Scholarship Fund was created in 2016 in Loving Memory of Valerie Bender, who fought hard over 10 years and lost her battle with Breast Cancer. Val’s wishes were to start a Scholarship Fund for riders who are Cancer Survivors or who are currently going through cancer treatments. Val understood the importance of being around horses and how much they can help provide peace, comfort, and therapy.
